Hello Early to Riser,
MaryEllen Tribby here with some exciting news to ring in the New Year.
We’ve just made two videos and if you’ve got just a few minutes it could mean something very exciting will happen to you in about 30 days…
The first video I made explains the deal, so please take a quick look at it, and then everything below will make a lot of sense… Let me explain…
Okay, so now you see what I’m talking about!
That’s right. I’m offering you a chance to enjoy an in-depth business building consultation with myself and Michael Masterson. When we meet you can ask us anything you’d like about marketing, doing business online, how we grew Early to Rise into a $26 million company, how you can perhaps copy our success. We’ll even fly you down to our offices in Delray Beach, Florida and put you up in a luxury beachfront resort for the night.
What’s the catch? As I said in the video above, all you have to do is pick up a video camera and a copy of Michael Masterson’s new book on business building and entrepreneurship, Ready, Fire, Aim: Zero to $100 Million in No Time Flat. It’s available starting Jan. 4 in stores and online.
Then you make a short video featuring the book.
Now check out this second video to see the crazy movie the ETR team put together to get some idea what we’re looking for. (Keep an eye out for my cameo!)
After you watch our movie, I’d like you to send it to at least five friends immediately. Just click on the YouTube logo in the lower right hand corner of the video screen and then click the “Share” button on the next page to email the video. If you don’t see a YouTube logo hit the Menu button first.

I know they could be potential competition for that lunch with Michael and myself, but we want as many people as possible to know about the powerful advice in Michael’s book. (Michael’s not taking on new consulting clients but if he were he would charge at least $1 million).
Okay, now back to the contest. You’ve seen what we did, now it’s your turn to make your own video.
If it seems to be a daunting task, don’t worry. We’re not looking for the next Steven Spielberg.
Yes, it’ll take a little work, and you’ll stretch your creative muscles, but I guarantee you’ll have a great time doing it. We certainly did when we made ours. You can get friends, family, co-workers, or your kids involved. No fancy camera or editing equipment needed. You can use a webcam, a home video camera, or a top notch professional set up - whatever you have available is fine. The key is creativity.
Here are the rules:
- Your video must feature the book, Ready, Fire, Aim.
- No vulgarity or profanity.
- Your video must be under two and half minutes and less than 100 MB
- The deadline to send in your videos is Feb. 1.
Once you have your video ready:
- Upload it to our group on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/group/readyfireaim
- You’ll have to create a YouTube account (if you don’t have one already) and join the “Ready, Fire, Aim” group.
- The first 25 people to post a video will get a copy of Ready, Fire, Aim autographed by Michael Masterson.
- The top 5 “favorite” uploaded videos, as chosen by the viewers, will be eligible for the grand prize.
- ETR staff will review the top 5 videos on Feb. 1 and pick the lucky winner from that group.
- We’ll announce the grand prize winner soon after.
- The runner-ups will receive the Michael Masterson “Marketing Genius” DVD set.
If you are unable to create a video you can still participate by visiting our YouTube group at the link above and voting for your favorite video. You can also help by spreading the word about the video you watched above and our contest. Talk about it at home and at work. Post a link on message boards and forums, or even on your blog.
For more information, or if you have any questions, send an email to jholland@agoralearning.com.
So get started and send in those videos. Be creative. Be crazy. Have fun.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Regards,
MaryEllen Tribby
